Glory Choi
Y. Glory Choi is a Ph.D. candidate in Jewish History at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, where he studies the New Testament within its Second Temple Jewish setting. His doctoral research explores how ancient Jewish writers in the Land of Israel and in the diaspora understood the place of the Torah at the end of the age. His work has been presented at the Hebrew University’s Orion Center for the Study of the Dead Sea Scrolls, the Evangelical Theological Society, and the Enoch Seminar, and an article is forthcoming in Bibliotheca Sacra.
Born in Korea and raised in Indonesia, Glory has lived in Jerusalem for about seven years. He enjoys studying and visiting biblical sites in Israel, Jordan, Greece, Italy and Turkey, and helping fellow travelers see how the land, history and archaeology illuminate the biblical text. He holds an M.Div. from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and is passionate about helping Christians understand the Jewish roots of their faith.
