Rabbi Yehudah Glick is the Chairman of the Shalom Jerusalem Foundation and President of Amitsim, an organization supporting Israeli widows, widowers and orphans. Born in New York and raised in Beersheva, Glick served in the IDF as a tank soldier and later as a combat medic. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Bible, Mishna and Talmudic studies, a master’s degree in Israeli history, and is a certified tour guide. His Torah studies under leading rabbis shaped his lifelong dedication to Jewish heritage and education.

Glick’s public career began in the Ministry of Immigrant Absorption, where he oversaw public relations, Jewish identity programs and district operations. In 2005, he became the highest-ranking civil servant to resign in protest of the Gush Katif disengagement. He later served as CEO of the Temple Institute and chaired the Temple Mount Heritage Foundation and Haliba, advocating for Jewish civil rights on the Temple Mount, a mission that nearly cost him his life in an assassination attempt.

Elected to the Knesset in 2016, Glick advanced significant public health legislation and received the Knights of Quality Government Award. Today, he continues to champion Jerusalem, the Temple Mount and global connection to Israel through the Shalom Jerusalem Foundation.
